1. Mrs. Fitz and I finish up our time here at HWC in 4 days. We drive to Hali. on Monday for a week or so, then to PA, then across the continent… Yes we’re driving, because….

2. Our beloved old 1999 Toyota Camry died on us last week on our way home from the Rally. The ol’ girl was a beaut and we put well over 40,000 miles into her. She will be sorely missed. However, we did get a new car, a nice little 2010 Accent. Because of this little car dying/buying a new car event, we’ve decided to drive across the country instead of flying. I think we might be crazy.

3. Mrs. Fitz and I just recently celebrated a whole year of being married. We’ve come to the conclusion over the past year that we are more AWESOME than ever. 

4. For those who don’t know, we’re driving across the country because I’ve accepted a position as Pastor of Student Ministries in BC. We’re super excited to head out west and get started.

5. I had the opportunity to speak last weekend (May 14th and 15th) at the annual Hillside Rally. It was an awesome experience! I had a great time, and hopefully everyone else did as well.
