So the local christian bookstore had a huge blowout going out of business sale today. From the hours of 7am to 9am every book was 60% off. So, in classic Mrs. Fitz fashion, we woke up at the crack of dawn and drove into Woodstock and ended up getting some great books for some even greater prices.

I picked up four. Three I have been wanting for a while, and just have never purchased, and one I saw and thought looked interesting.

Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola and George Barna

Chazown (pronounced khaw-zone) by Craig Groeschel

The Rabbi’s Heartbeat by Brennan Manning (One of my favorite authors)

and Make Poverty Personal: Taking the poor as seriously as the Bible does by Ash Barker

I’m excited to jump into them and get reading. 

Also, this guy named Jon Acuff has a new book out and today he is giving the audio book version away for free! Check it out! This guy is hilarious! I am waiting to receive my copy of the book (currently at Mrs. Fitz’s parents house) in the mail in the next week or so. I wanted to be rich… (listen to/read the book and you’ll get that).
